New Changes Coming for San Bernardino County Gun and Riverside County Owners!
With a lot of careful thought and consideration we have decided that Riverside County Gun Owners and San Bernardino Gun Owners will merge to create Inland Empire Gun Owners or IEGO for short. Our official launch date will be Dec 1st, 2021 and our 1st event under this new name will be the 1st annual IEGO Christmas Party. The details of the Christmas Party will come out the first couple weeks of Nov and we are hoping for a great family event.
So what will IEGO look like? Some things will stay the same, such as the monthly Virtual CCW Seminars. Since San Bernardino and Riverside CCW requirements are different, we will still provide separate Seminars for each county every month just as we do now. We will also still Vet, Endorse, and promote Second Amendment friendly candidates at the local level, individually for each county.
Some of the things of course will be changing as we grow. Monthly Meetings will now be combined into a single meeting, rotating between the two counties. We are also looking at the logistics of Live Streaming the meetings for those who are unable to attend any in-person meetings. They will be able to join us, hear the latest news for IEGO and participate along with those who are in attendance.
Our Tabletops and Gun Show events will also be changing some. They will be open to both counties for volunteer opportunities. We will also have a Tabletop/Gun Show Lead, Mike Cooke will be the Lead for all of these outreach efforts. Mike along with his team of county specific Team Captains will run and organize all of our outreach efforts. Since our Inland Empire area will be so vast, we will be looking for additional team captains to grow our organization. If you are interested in being a team captain near your city or in either county please reach out to Mike Cooke and sign-up.
There are still a lot of logistics to workout for this merge and name change and more information will be coming out in the weeks to come, so keep an eye on your email, our social media pages and on the webpages for new and updated information . In the meantime, there are a couple of things I need for you to do, to help make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone.
1. If you are an RCGO member, Please login to REVV (our donation/membership system) and verify that all your information is up to date and accurate. You can do this by going to www.riversidecountygunowners.com , clicking on the “Join Now” button, toward the bottom of the page there is a red button that says “Make a 1 time donation” click on that, and when prompted “login” from here your will be able to access your account and make any changes. This will not charge you again, it is just the way to login to the REVV system. The information we need verified or updated is Email address, phone number, house address (No PO Boxes are allowed due to CA campaign donation laws) and your Employer and job title (This is also required by the State of CA campaign laws) Please keep your employer and job title to your actual company name and job. If you are Retired, unemployed or a homemaker please just say that. Although we do get a laugh out of the very witty and creative descriptions that some have come up with, it does create additional work for our staff and we incur extra costs by having to take the time to call you for the accurate information, if we are unable to get the information in time, we have to file an amendment to our monthly tax filing, this also incurs an additional cost not only with our accounting office but with the tax board as well.
2. If you are an SBCGO member, I will be sending out individual instructions for each of you since they are different for our monthly members and our annual members, but in essence I will need you to go to the RCGO Join page and sign up again before your next payment is due. You can do this by going to www.riversidecountygunowners.com and sign up under the Riverside County Gun Owners membership page. This will allow you to enter all your information into our payment/donation site (REVV). This database will be “re-named” Inland Empire Gun Owners come Dec 1st. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to roll over any payment information from one system to the other or merge the two separate systems to create a single system. The only way for us to create a single database is to have our SBCGO members re-enter their information in the current RCGO database and then rename it on Dec 1st.
3. If you currently receive our weekly newsletter emails from either RCGO and SBCGO, you will still receive these emails. If for some reason the emails stop coming, please reach out to us, using the email under the Contact Us tab on either webpage.
If you have any questions, comments and/or concerns please feel free to email me at karla@riversidecountygunowners.com
We will still be holding separate monthly meetings for the month of Oct. SBCGO’s Oct meeting will be held at Bass Pro Shops at Victoria Gardens, upstairs in the Trophy Room on Friday Oct 22. The meet, eat and greet will start at 6pm with the meeting starting at 6:30pm.
RCGOs meeting will be held Friday Oct 29th at American Preparedness Academy located at 19960 Winton St, Corona, CA 92881. The meet, eat and greet will start at 6pm and meeting will start at 6:30pm
Last but not least, If you are watching this and you are not yet a member, I encourage you to go to www.riversidecountygunowners.com and sign up today. We have several membership levels starting for as little as $10 per mo or $100 per year. All of us here at Riverside and San Bernardino Gun Owners appreciate all of our Second Amendment brothers and sisters, it is time to join the fight to protect our Second Amendment rights. Together, We will Win!

Why Should YOU Become a Member of
San Bernardino County Gun Owners?
Join San Bernardino County Gun Owners PAC
Our goal is simple: elect the right people on the 34 city councils in San Bernardino County because that is where Sacramento and Washington D.C. politicians start.
What will San Bernardino County Gun Owners PAC do that isn’t already being done?
  • Second Amendment Advocacy at the city/county level where state and federal politicians begin their careers.
  • Second Amendment Community Organizing. Be the change you want to see by becoming a part of a movement to restore and protect your Second Amendment right.
  • Political Fundraising to help get the right people elected locally where we can have the most impact.
  • Working with the local gun industry on every part of our plan because we are all in this together.
Using the successful model of San Diego County Gun Owners PAC, San Bernardino County Gun Owners PAC will be the strong, permanent infrastructure, that focuses on changing the face of gun ownership by getting volunteers involved in local level activism and educational outreach.
We will bring a Second Amendment focus to local politics that does not exist and be the permanent infrastructure to improve candidate bench strength, precinct operations, and a meaningful way for gun owners to get involved in politics.
It is time we had a voice and became a movement. But we can’t do it without you. JOIN HERE!
Be the change you want to see.
